Sunday Morning Coming Down

I'ts 8:15 AM Sunday morning. Fresh flakes of snow are peacefully and slowly fluttering their way downward to softly fall on the blanket of white snow outside our livingroom (REC'd ROOM)!!!!Meanwhile, inside, JULIA bangs lovingly on the keys of her FisherPrice "light up and glow" (or some name like that) baby piano. The woodstove downstairs is roaring, Daddy's getting his first cup of Java down the hatch while Mommy catches some zzzzzz as therapy from last night's kick-fest - starring Julia.
Li'l Dippers anyone? There's room for more at the YMCA Li'l Dippers pre-pre-intro to swimming classes for baby, Mom and Dad. This week Julia looked frightened during most of the half-hour class. She seemed cold. Before the dippin', lucky-li'l Julia visited with Granma and Granpa back at the ol' homestead, so that Mommy-Julia and Daddy-Julia could slip out for a nice brunch at The Palate Restaurant. It's got a great little lunch menu; we recommend it. After a wonderful little meal, we got lost in The Owl's Nest Bookstore; yes, we're okay and you knew that anyway if you had read the intro. (Love The Owl's Nest get-away. If you've got the time, grab a coffee from somewhere and poke around in there; and if you've got lots of time, then try to count all of the owls in that store.)
Julia was all smiles when we picked her outta Granma's arms. She'd had a wonderful visit, sans shedding les tears of sadness. Lucky Julia; she'd seen my parents the night before.
Gonna have some coffee sips now and keep Julia away from the fireplace tools.
